Jewelry

Jewelry is selling, but there is  a lot of competition.  Knowing that gold and silver are not magnetic is a quick way to test something that may be gold or silver.  Other metals may also not be magnetic, but much of the costume jewelry is magnetic.

There are gem testers that sell for a couple hundred dollars that can be used to test gems.  More advanced jewelry resellers may have more advanced tests for metals and gems.

Some older costume jewelry is selling well which includes:  Trifari, Weiss, Coro, Eisenberg, Schreiner, Marcel Boucher, Haskell, Napier, Channel, Hobe, Hermes, and Native American Jewelry.

Again, do your research before you buy and sell so that you know what is desirable and what a good purchase and sales price will be.
